PSG beats Arsenal to join Inter in final

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final. The French Ligue 1 club won this leg 2-1 at home. Luis Enrique's team advanced to the final with a 3-1 aggregate victory.
On the other hand, Arsenal had to leave the last four. Earlier, PSG won the first leg 1-0 at Arsenal's home ground, the Emirates Stadium.
PSG will face Inter Milan in the final at the Allianz Arena in Germany on June 1. Earlier, Inter became the first team to reach the final of this season's Champions League by defeating Barcelona.
PSG last reached the final in 2020. The team missed out on their first European title after losing to Bayern Munich that season. Five years later, they have another chance. This time, if they can beat Inter, PSG will win the Champions League for the first time.
Arsenal played brilliantly in the opening minutes of the match at the Parc des Princes stadium on Wednesday, but PSG played patiently. PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made several world-class saves.
Against the flow of play, PSG scored their first goal in the 27th minute. Arsenal's Thomas Partey misjudged a header, which landed at the feet of PSG's Fabian Ruiz. He controlled the ball brilliantly and fired home with a powerful shot. It was his first goal in 46 Champions League appearances. It gave PSG a 1-0 lead.
Donnarumma again made a brilliant save from Arsenal's Bukayo Saka in the 64th minute. Then in the 69th minute, Miles Lewis-Skelly handed PSG a penalty after Achraf Hakimi's shot was handled. But Vitinha's weak shot was easily saved by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
Hakimi scored a brilliant goal in the 72nd minute, playing a one-two with Ousmane Dembele to secure PSG's victory. Saka equalized four minutes after falling 2-0 behind. However, he missed an easy chance a few minutes later to secure PSG's victory.
